At ContactPoint 360, we believe empowerment and change begins at home with shared stories, open conversations, and self-reflections. This belief came to life, when Elizabeth Sedlacek, Senior Vice President Client Relations & Partnerships took an initiative to empowering women at work.

During this recent onsite session, women from different departments participated, which made it more than a talk. It was a reminder that leadership is born from resilience, and belief in one’s power.

A Voice that Moved the Room

There was no formal agenda, the session was all about Elizabeth’s powerful voice and her deep intent to inspire. Moreover, with authenticity and warmth, she spoke about what it truly means to be a leader:

  • To embrace challenges
  • To rise through setbacks
  • To never let others, define your worth

In addition, the women empowerment at workplace session focused on the five pillars of leadership, encouraging participants to think deeply about how courage, integrity, self-awareness, influence, and accountability shape their professional and personal journey.

Women Leadership Stories That Stirred the Soul

One of the session’s most impactful moments came from the book “Called to Action”, which is a collection of real-life women leadership stories, including that of Asad Mirza, CEO and Founder of ContactPoint 360. He built his path through perseverance and purpose and still holds on to those principles.

Further, to make the session interactive, a raffle system was introduced. When a participant’s ticket number was called, she would walk up, read a leader’s story aloud, and receive the book as a gift.

It was during one of these readings that the room fell silent. A young woman began reading a story about a leader who lost her mother young and was told she would never succeed. Yet, she fought tirelessly to raise her circumstances. But who knew that this story mirrored the life of woman, reading this story.

As she read further, her voice trembled, because she, too, had lost her mother at a young age and was told she would never make it. But, today, at just 22, she is a university graduate and doing great in her life. This moment brought tears, inspiration, and shared understanding that resilience is leadership in its purest form.

Shared Wisdom, Shared Growth

Participants later broke into small groups to discuss the pillar of leadership assigned to them. These discussions were raw and reflective, which included stories of personal hurdles, professional challenges, and triumphs.

Later, the session opened for Q&A. The entire dialogue was honest and empowering, encouraging each other to stand up, ask questions, tell their story, and collaborate. Most of the questions revolved around applying these leadership principles in daily life and building confidence in male-dominated spaces.

Impact That Lingered

Even long after the session ended, the impact remained and rippled over time. Participants spoke about feeling more aware of their own journeys and the invisible strength it takes to lead. They walked away not just inspired, but empowered to act, to mentor, to speak up, to lead boldly.

It was more than a talk. It was a spark that ignited dozens of new stories of courage, compassion, and confidence.

A Legacy of Women Empowerment at Workplace

As one of the participants shared “I walked out of that room not just improved, I walked out believing I can.”

The session was more than an event, it was a celebration of women who lead, learn, and lift each other. It reaffirmed that ContactPoint 360’s company culture to create spaces, where women are seen, heard, and empowered to grow.

While there’s no follow-up session planned yet, the echoes of this one will continue through teams. Because when women rise, she lifts many others with her and that’s how real leadership begins.
